AOCsupport January 19, 2021

Despite the threats brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, colleges and universities continue to provide access to quality education. After all, there’s no reason why one should stop learning. Through online colleges, students can pursue higher education.

Besides schedule flexibility, many online schools also offer affordable tuition. But which one should you choose? Consider the following list of the most reputable schools in 2021 to narrow your choices.

Northeastern University – Boston, Massachusetts

Northeastern University opened its doors in late 1898. Since then, it has become one of the leaders in experiential learning. It never stopped innovating and has always earned a spot in the top online schools in the entire nation.

To date, Northeastern University has nine schools and colleges that offer more than 140 certificate and degree programs. It delivers online programs that are 100% online; hence, distance learners can complete their courses without having to complete on-campus components.

Indiana University Bloomington – Bloomington, Indiana

Indiana University Bloomington is Indiana University System’s flagship school that serves no less than 6,000 students taking up certificate and degree programs online. It offers asynchronous learning, allowing its learners to study at their own time and pace. Additionally, it provides access to tutoring, success coaching, academic support, and library services.

California State University-Los Angeles – Los Angeles, California

Students of California State University-Los Angeles can freely access the Cal State Online, a network that serves over 8,000 learners through a hundred different online programs. Some of which include agricultural education and public administration. While Cal State LA delivers online degrees that are utterly online, some programs require students to complete on-campus components before graduation.

University of Florida-Online – Gainesville, Florida

The University of Florida introduced UF Online in 2014 with more than twenty online bachelor’s degrees. Some of its offerings include computer science, psychology, and nursing. It also delivers graduate courses and certificate programs to those who seek to advance their careers through education.

University of Central Florida – Orlando, Florida

The University of Central Florida first offered its online courses in 1999. Then in 2016, it officially launched UCF Online, which now has at least 2100 online courses and no less than a hundred degrees and certificate programs. To date, UCF Online serves about 5500 distance learners that have access to skills training, success coaching, and other support services.
