Online College: The Most Affordable Schools Across United States

AOCsupport February 27, 2021

Many online colleges are considerably less expensive compared to others. While tuition may seem almost the same, there are several other expenses that one must take into consideration when choosing an institution. But there’s a significant difference between affordable and cheap, so make sure you make the right choice and choose the former. Here’s a list for you.

Indiana University

Indiana University in Bloomington, IN, is one of the least expensive colleges in the entire country. It offers quite a wide range of undergraduate and graduate degree programs that can be taken completely online. Among the most popular courses IU offers include health sciences, applied science, and mathematics.

Admission requirements for incoming freshman students vary according to the program and may or may not include written essays. Several graduate courses, however, have the same tuition regardless if the student lives in the state or not. Additionally, financial aids are available for qualified learners.

University of Florida

University of Florida Online (UF Online) delivers several bachelor’s degrees in environmental management, recreation management, and digital arts and sciences. It oversees online resources to make sure that distance learners are able to troubleshoot basic IT issues. Additionally, the school provides students free access to their online library.

UF Online grants limited financial aid to qualified online learners. Applicants must submit their FAFSA result as soon as it is available. Likewise, prospective students should prepare their high school transcripts, GED, ACT, or SAT scores upon admission request.

Florida International University

Florida International University is an excellent choice for students who are yet to decide which path to take in college. It offers over 60 programs that are entirely online including criminal justice, international relations, and Asian studies. Many graduates reported that earning an online degree from FIU helped them land a very successful career.

Undergraduate applicants must present their FAFSA results as well as standardized test scores upon admission request. Merit-based scholarships are also available and qualified students must process a separate form to apply.
